Ouster deferred? Council wipes censure of Ellis from agenda
FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCIV) -- A few days after putting a censure and removal of the town's mayor Pro Tem, Folly Beach Town Council has removed the measure.
In an updated agenda released Friday, the motion to censure and remove Eddie Ellis had been removed from the planned discussion.
An officials said council members decided to pull the issue to try and resolve the issues with Ellis.
ABCNews4 has reached out to Ellis and his attorney for comment.
The initial agenda cited misconduct by Ellis as a reason, but did not specify what actions Ellis allegedly took for the governing body to consider a censure.
