Phonebank Spotlight: 26th Annual Kidsfair

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - This spring the Charleston Jewish Community Center is teaming up with the City of Charleston to present the 26th Annual Kidsfair.{} It's free, open to the public and a safe way to get children out of the house.{} The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 from 10 am to 4 pm at Burke High School.{} Entertainment includes educational "hands-on" displays along with face painting and story telling.{}{} There will also be experts on hand to talk about healthy eating and home safety.{} Wednesday evening organizers from Kidsfair will be in the ABC News 4 Volunteer Phonebank between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to talk more about the event and to recruit volunteers to help.{} If you'd like to participate dial 881-5837.{} If you can't get to the phone during the phonebank you can still call, you'll just have to dial different numbers.Those numbers are: Dial 2-1-1, (843) 744-HELP or 1-800-922-2283.
