Players with Lowcountry ties named to NFL Pro Bowl

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two players with Lowcountry ties were announced to the NFL Pro Bowl Friday night.{}

Former Fort Dorchester High School standout Robert Quinn made his first Pro Bowl team.{} Quinn is a defensive end for the St. Louis Rams were he set a single season team record with 18 sacks this season.{} He still can add to that total as the Rams play its final regular season game on Sunday.

Former Summerville High School product A.J. Green makes his third consecutive NFL Pro Bowl.{} Green has led his Cincinnati Bengals to an AFC North Division championship.{} Green has 94 receptions this season with 1,365 yards and ten touchdown receptions.

The 2014 Pro Bowl will be the first time the game will be "Unconferenced" with players selected without regard to conference in voting by fans, coaches and players.

The first-ever Pro Bowl Draft will be nationally televised during a live three-hour prime-time broadcast on NFL Network at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 22. {}{}
