      Police arrest five in West Ashley drug bust

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Five people were arrested after members of the Charleston Police Department Special Investigations Unit, SWAT Team and Team 4 executed a search warrant at a Magnolia Road home.

      The arrests were made on Friday, May 3. Police confiscated 86 grams of cocaine base, a gram of cocaine, a gram of marijuana and more than $1,500 in cash.

      A 1-year-old child was also found in the home and was placed in the custody of the Department of Social Services.

      Cary Stephens, 22, is charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, trafficking cocaine base, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a stolen handgun and unlawful conduct towards a child.

      Kristin Stephens, 24, is charged with trafficking cocaine base, possession of a stolen handgun and unlawful conduct towards a child.

      Corey Stephens, 23, is charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, trafficking cocaine base, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a stolen handgun and unlawful conduct towards a child.

      Kenneth Mosley, 65, is charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine base, possession of a stolen handgun and unlawful conduct towards a child.

      Randolph Oliver, 33, is charged with his second offense of possession of marijuana.
