Police: Couple's make-out session interrupted by armed robbers
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A romantic evening in the parking lot behind Home Team BBQ turned into a crime scene, police said.
According to an incident report from the Charleston Police Department, a couple said they were "making out" in the back parking lot of the restaurant between Diana Street and 5th Avenue when they were approached by two black men.
The male victim said he has heard footsteps in the gravel, turned and saw the first suspect holding a gun.
"We need all your money," the suspect reportedly said.
The victim told police he gave over his debit card and cell phone before a car turned in, shining a light on the suspects causing them to run.
The first suspect is described as being six feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. The report lists him as being between 23 and 28-years-old.
The victims said the second suspect was about 6'03" and 200 pounds, wearing a white shirt wrapped around the bottom half of his face.
Police released a sketch of one of the suspects. If anyone knows about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
