3 cars hit by stray bullets in North Charleston club shooting

Investigators spent hours on the scene

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police spent hours marking shell casings and talking to people near the scene of a shooting early Friday morning.

According to a North Charleston police report, witnesses told officers that the shooting happened shortly after a fight at the Blue Magic club on Ashley Phosphate Road shortly before 2 a.m.

Three people told police that their cars were hit with stray bullets from the shooting.

Damage to the cars was estimated at nearly $3,000. No one was injured in the shooting, as far as police can tell.

Members of the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office were assisting with the investigation as of 2:30 a.m.
