Police investigate shooting in North Charleston
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A dispatch supervisor says at least one person was hurt in an early morning shooting Thursday.
Officials say the shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. along Ashby Avenue in North Charleston.
Spencer Pryor with the North Charleston Police said a woman called 9-1-1 while driving to MUSC with a man who had been shot in his leg on Ashby Avenue.
Dispatch told police the woman refused to give any more information.
Pryor said officers found a possible crime scene at the 5000 block of Ashby Ave.
Officials have not yet said what led up to the shooting.
