COLLETON, S.C. (WCIV) - Deputies are looking for a man they believe shot two people at a night club in Colleton County last month.
The suspect, 20-year-old Raymond Powell is wanted for two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Warrants for Powell's arrest were issued last week and Colleton County Sheriff's deputies have made several attempts to catch him but he's evaded them so far.
Public Information Officer Ted Stanfield says Powell should be considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting happened on Jan. 30 at the Chase Lounge located at the intersection of Rivers and Proctor Street near Walterboro.
According to deputies, one person was shot multiple times and the other person was only hit once.
Powell is described as a black male, about 5'09" tall and weighing 165 pounds.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or the Colleton County Sheriff's Office at 549-2211.
