LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Grand Oaks Drive in Ladson for reports of a dog attack.

According to the incident report, a mother said her son and other children were playing in the woods near Avenue of the Oaks Friday evening when a man walking two leashed dogs and a loose dog approached.

The children said one of the dogs attacked a young boy, biting him in the face. Another parent told police his daughter was also attacked, suffering a bite to the leg. One of the children said the unleashed dog chased the girl on her bike before biting her leg.

The children said the man apologized before leaving the scene with the dogs which appeared to be 'boxers.'

The dog walker is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years of age with brown hair. He was wearing a blue and white shirt.
