Police looking for man who pointed gun at people in Marion Square

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are looking for a man they say pointed a gun at two people in Marion Square in downtown Charleston on Sunday night.

According to police, a possibly Hispanic man approached two people around 10 p.m. Sunday and asked for money. When the people said they did not have any money, the man pulled out a gun and began yelling profanities at them.

Police say the two people ran from the man and contacted police.

Surveillance photos of the man show he has a heavily tattooed left arm.
