Police: Man arrested after Monday Club Rosa shooting

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Police say a man was arrested following a Monday morning shooting at Club Rosa on Highway 162.

Police say that a witness on the scene handed over a gun that he stated was recovered after the shooting.

Ricardo Chisolm, 30, claimed the gun was his, according to a police report. Upon checking records of the firearm, police say they found that the gun was stolen out of Georgia.

According to the police report, Chisolm then claimed the gun belonged to another suspect at the scene.

Police say Chisolm's records showed he was wanted by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and North Charleston Police. According to the report, police transported Chisolm to Charleston County Detention Center.

The report does not say whether Chisolm fired shots Monday morning or not.{} According to police, one victim was struck by the gunfire near Club Rosa and transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
