Police: Man shot in leg after argument, police search for suspect
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) --An argument between two men turned bloody Monday, ending with one of them shot in the leg.
According to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor it happened in the 1900 block of Robertson Street.
Pryor says the "intoxicated victim" was taken to the hospital.
According to the police report, officers responded to the area of Robertson and Althea and found the victim bleeding from his thigh.
The 51-year-old victim told police he had been shot by a tall, thin black man named "Trey" because he failed to pay him for raking his yard.
Officers note that the victim was "uncooperative as well as intoxicated." The report states he refused treatment at MUSC and was booked for public drunkenness.
The suspect is described as a 19-year-old black man with black hair and brown eyes, about 6' tall and weighing 120 pounds.
