CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A downtown home got some free landscaping from Charleston police Monday but the kind of weeds they pulled weren't your garden variety plant.

Police responded to 105 Logan Street for reports of marijuana growing in a community garden behind the Charleston Housing Authority apartment complex.

The plot of pot was visible to anyone walking down Magazine Street.

About 20 plants ranging from 3 to 8 inches tall were confiscated.

No arrests were made.
