Police report armed robbery at Cooters

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating two suspects wanted for an armed robbery that happened Monday night.

According to police, around 10 p.m., two men entered the Cooters Convenience Store on South Frasier Street and demanded money. Investigators say the suspects took several items and an unknown amount of cash before driving off in a silver two-door "import vehicle."

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5'09"-6'0" in height, thin build, with dark skin,wearing a dark hoodie with his face covered by a multi-colored dark bandana.

The second suspect is also described as a black male with dark skin, thin build wearing what appeared to be a camouflaged hat, gray basketball shorts and black tennis shoes.
