Police: Robbery suspect arrested just 20 mins after the crime

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police worked fast Sunday morning after responding to a call about an armed robbery on Calhoun and Coming streets downtown.

      According to a police report, the call came in just before 4:30 a.m. The victim told police the suspect pointed a sliver revolver at his chest before taking his iPhone 4 and riding off on a lime green bicycle.

      After getting a description of the suspect, police searched the area and found him riding the lime green bike in the area of Calhoun and Radcliffe just 20 minutes later.

      The suspect, 29-year-old Theodore Robert Nelson is charged with armed robbery, unlawful carrying of a handgun and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
