Police: Woman fires 3 shots into man's car at intersection

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A woman fired several shots at a car sitting at an intersection last Thursday, shattering a window and putting two bullet holes in the driver's door, police say.

According to North Charleston police, 21-year-old Destiny Deas was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the incident.

A police report states the victim was in his car on Dorchester Road when a Nissan sedan pulled up beside him. The windows rolled down and the man said he saw Deas, the woman he had argued with a week earlier, and their argument started again, the report states.

Then Deas pulled out a handgun and fired three shots at the man, police said.

One bullet shattered the driver's side window and two others were lodged in the driver's door, according to the report.

Investigators later found Deas at her Summerville apartment and arrested her.
