Rain postpones RiverDogs, Shorebirds in Maryland

SALISBURY, Md. (DOGS) - Friday's game between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Delmarva Shorebirds was postponed due to rain at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. This contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 4:35 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury, Md. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games to continue this four-game series. RiverDogs broadcast coverage of the twin bill begins at 4 p.m. with another edition of Saturday Dog Talk, an extended 30-minute pregame show that will include an interview with RiverDogs manager Luis Dorante. COMING UP: Games two and three of this four-game set will be featured in a Saturday doubleheader that starts at 4:35pm. Probable pitchers for the doubleheader opener are Charleston RHP Rookie Davis (2-0, 2.75 ERA) and Delmarva RHP Sebastian Vader (1-1, 2.84 ERA).
