Red Cross closes shelters but still provides meals

      CROSS, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Red Cross has announced that the last of their warming shelters is now closed but they are still serving meals to help those who are still without power.

      Meals will be served Thursday at 5 p.m. at the following locations.{} This will be the last time meals are served in this area.

      • Cross High School, 1293 Old Hwy 6, Cross, SC

      Meals will also be served Thursday evening at 5 p.m. in Georgetown at the following locations. Meals are also scheduled for Friday.

      • Northwest Regional Recreation Center, 8189 Choppee Road, Georgetown
      • Sampit Park, 495 Powell Road, Georgetown
