      Red Cross needs additional volunteers

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The American Red Cross needs additional volunteers and is offering volunteer orientation classes in the Lowcountry.

      A New Volunteer Orientation class will be held in North Charleston on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. It will be at the American Red Cross Carolina Lowcountry Chapter office located at 2424 City Hall Lane.

      A second class will be held in Bluffton that same day from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Palmetto Service Center at 59 Sheridan Park Circle.

      A couple of days later, a class will be held in Beaufort on Monday, April 28, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. It will be held at the Beaufort City Hall at 302 Carteret Street.{}

      Then, on April 30, a class will be held in Georgetown at the American Red Cross Chapter House located at 104 Screven Street. That class will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
