Report: Argument leads to shots fired at home
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Mulmar Street Saturday night after witnesses reported hearing gun shots.
According to the report, the victims were in their bedroom when they heard four to five "loud bangs" that they said sounded like gunfire. They told investigators that they then heard glass break in their living room and a "loud thump."
Deputies found a hole in the front window and a hole in the front left wall of the home.
Witnesses told CCSO officials that a "mid-sized two-door vehicle" was in the area and left at a high rate of speed after an unknown suspect fired shots from the car toward Building C of the Georgetown Apartments across the street from the home.
Another witness told deputies he heard an argument outside of that same building followed by several gun shots.
Deputies found four .380 shell casings near the apartment building.
So far there is no information on any suspects.
If anyone knows anything about this or any other crime they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
