Report: Man arrested after grabbing woman's groin

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- An Indiana man was arrested after he groped a woman in her groin area as she walked near the campus of the College of Charleston, officials said.

According to a police report, Michael Andrews, 31, of New Palestine, IN, groped the 20-year-old woman as she walked on Coming Street near Montagu Street Friday morning.

Officers arrested Andrews a short time later at Duncan and Pitt streets.

He was charged with second-degree assault and battery.

Officials said the Duke University Police Department also issued a warrant for sexual battery for Andrews.
