Report: More than a dozen antennas broken on patrol cars

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police are trying to find the man who broke the radio antennas on more than a dozen patrol cars on June 15.

According to a police report, officers noticed the damage to the cars around 10:15 a.m. June 15 and went to check a surveillance camera mounted to a convenience store on Meeting Street.

The video showed several hours earlier a white man in his 20s with a short beard and wavy hair enter the parking lot where the patrol cars were parked and mess with the vehicles.

Police have not identified the man.

The damage was valued at $800.
