Report on Lowcountry worker needs being released

{}CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The Charleston area is expected to add 25,000 new jobs during the next five years.

A report is being released Wednesday on what sort of skilled workers employers will need to fill those jobs.

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce commissioned the report along with community groups and higher education institutions.

It analyzes the programs offered by higher education in the area and the needs that employers will have in the coming years. It also looks at how to fill the needs for educating workers.
