Report: Police arrest woman after finding victim bound and bleeding
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- North Charleston police are investigating an armed robbery involving three suspects tying their victim to chair and cutting him.According to the police report, officers responded to an apartment complex on Melanie Court for reports of a man found tied up and bleeding.They found the 26-year-old victim standing in the street with his hands bound behind his back, a cloth inside his mouth and a large laceration on his left arm.The victim was taken to MUSC and the owner of the apartment, 32-year-old Jamie Marie Crosby, was called. Crosby told police no one should have been inside her home.Once officers were able to talk to the victim, he told them Crosby and two other men had woken him up, pulled him out of bed and assaulted him. The report states that $50,000 in cash was taken.Crosby is charged with assault and battery in the first degree, armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.She was given a $300,000 bond.If anyone knows anything about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.We will update this story when more information becomes available.
