Republican Cash to run against Graham in 2014

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - An Anderson businessman says he plans to run against U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the 2014 Republican primary.

Richard Cash says Graham does not reflect the core values of South Carolina voters. He says Christian faith, free-market capitalism and a strict interpretation of the Constitution are the cornerstones of American society.

Cash owns a fleet of ice cream trucks and a used car business. He spent eight years working for the anti-abortion group Pastors for Life.

Cash's wife and 7 of his eight children helped pass out bumper stickers at his rally Monday.

Cash got 49% of the vote losing in a runoff to U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan in 2010

Graham's campaign said Monday he has nearly $5.4 million in the bank.
