Charleston, S.C. (WCIV) -- After a big win, Palmetto Moon in Northwoods Mall was the first stop for Carolina fans like Tracey and Braden Logsdon.

"We ordered shirts for beating Clemson," says Logsdon.

The biggest football weekend in the state falls during the biggest retail weekend in the nation.

"For the jerseys and things like that, not only did they want to buy them to wear, but they bought two so they could have one as a gift as well," says store manager Jill Dortch.

Dortch says this is the first year their Black Friday sale started at midnight.

"For us to see that we had such an increase this year, over last year that it's only a matter to see what we will do this holiday season. It was a good jumping off point if that's any indication," says Dortch.

Dortch says they prepared for large crowds and were able to keep stocking the shelves.

"We had our back rooms jam-packed and we were on the phone with the owners of the company to let them know what we need. We were able to travel in hours to get whatever we needed."

Dortch says the company also benefits by being locally owned and says Small Business Saturday gave another boost.

"I do think that they do like us and we are a small.{} There are so many things here that are unique only to us," says Dortch.
