Rivers Ave. Chinese restaurant robbed

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- North Charleston police are looking for a suspect who robbed the Peking Restaurant on Rivers Avenue Monday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m. officers responded to the Chinese restaurant for reports of an armed robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5'07 tall, weighing 175 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing and gloves with his shirt pulled up over his nose.

Police said he was armed with a black handgun when he entered the business, demanded money and then fled on foot.{}
