Road To Recovery Program featured in the Volunteer 4 Phonebank

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) - Wednesday the Charleston Hope Lodge will be featured in the Volunteer 4 Phonebank. {}The organization is looking for volunteers to help with their Road to Recovery Program.{}The program provides rides for cancer patients who need to get to and from treatment. {}Volunteers will donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need. If your unable to offer rides, you can also help by co-coordinating the transportation. {}Coordinators can work whenever it's convenient for them. {}That could be one day a week, during the evening or on the weekends. {}All you need is to give is four hours of your time.{}The Road to Recovery program is part of the American Cancer Society. {} For more information on how you can get involved call into the Phonebank between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on April 30th. {}The number is 881-5837. {}If you can't get to the phone during that time you can also call two other numbers any time of the day.
