Rob Mallia joins the ABC News 4 team as a weeknight reporter and quickly transitioned to the reporter for Good Morning Charleston.
Rob is a native of Peabody, Massachusetts, and attended school at Keene State College in New Hampshire where he studied Broadcast Journalism.
Before coming to the Lowcountry, Rob worked as a reporter at KLFY News 10 in Lafayette, Louisiana. While reporting there he covered many stories including the implementation of Common Core in schools.
Rob received the honor of being chosen by his station for the Associated Press's "Reporter of the Year" as well as "Best Feature" for his story on John F. Kennedy: 50 Years Later.
When Rob is not out chasing his next big story, he loves to cook, watch movies, relax outside, and collect artwork.
