SC Marines conduct search, rescue training

{}{} MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) -- Marines from the Beaufort Air Station are conducting a search and rescue drill off the South Carolina coast.{}{} Sgt. Marcy Sanchez says Friday's drill is taking place in the waters off Bull Point.{}{} Sanchez says the drill includes members of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, Beaufort Memorial Hospital and the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station in Savannah.{}{} The exercise is designed to test emergency responders' ability to respond to an aviation mishap.{}{} It involves members of Marine Corps Aircraft Group 31 from the air station.
