CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The board of the South Carolina State Ports Authority is meeting in Charleston.
Members at Tuesday's meeting are to get the final financial figures for the authority's operations during the fiscal year that ended on June 30.
Almost 1,900 ships called at the state's ports last fiscal year, an increase of about 5 percent over the previous year.
About 182,000 cruise passengers either sailed from Charleston or were on ships making ports of call. That's down about 4 percent from the previous fiscal year.
