COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- State officials have released an analysis of spending by South Carolina cities, counties and school boards.
The State Budget and Control Board has put the 2012 Local Government Finance Report on its website.
The report includes a wide range of financial data and analyzes that data for five- and 10-year periods. The data is used by a number of agencies, including determining the financial impact of legislation and identifying trends. It is also used in national reports and surveys.
