SC shooting suspect arrested by US Marshals in NC
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A man wanted in a fatal shooting at a Myrtle Beach apartment complex has been arrested in North Carolina.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Friday (http://bit.ly/1ik4VbH ) that Akeem Akbar Young of Conway was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal Task Force in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The 36-year-old Young is being held at a detention center in Fayetteville pending extradition to Horry County, where he will be charged with murder in the shooting of 26-year-old Antonio Dexter Smith, 24.
Young is the second person charged in Smith's killing. Delshawn Anthony Davis of Conway was charged Wednesday with murder.
