SC tourism leader goes to Capitol Hill to testify

{}{} MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- One of South Carolina's top tourism officials is in Washington talking about tourism promotion.{}{} Brad Dean, the president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, testifies on Thursday before a U.S. Senate committee.{}{} The committee is hearing testimony from travel industry experts on efforts to attract 100 million visitors a year.{}{} Dean also serves on the board of directors of the United States Travel and Tourism Advisory Board as well as the U.S. Travel Association and Destination Marketing Association International.
