CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Rescuers called off the search for a missing boater Sunday night.
Robert McCullough with the Department of Natural Resources said a father and son-in-law were on a boat when it capsized. He said the son-in-law made it to shore and called 911 around 7:30 p.m.
Rescuers with DNR and the Charleston County Marine Patrol and Underwater Recovery Team searched for about an hour before they found the other man.
"The coroner has been called," McCullough said.
DNR officials say the man was found off Wappoo Road at Elliot's Cut.
