LAKE CITY, S.C. (WCIV) An second arrest has been made in the hit-and-run death of Kingstree High School Girl's Basketball Coach Sonya Burgess.

South Carolina Highway Patrol investigators confirm that 21-year-old Kwandeesha J. Taylor is charged with leaving the scene of a collision failing to render aid.

Another suspect, Daveline Holmes has already been charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of a collision involving death.

According to a SCHP spokesperson Trooper Bridget Wyant, Holmes was pulling out into traffic from the gas station parking lot and pulled out into Burgess' lane of traffic causing her to swerve.

Officials said Burgess overcorrected, which caused the Ford Expedition to overturn. Burgess was ejected from her car and ended up lying in the roadway and that's when troopers believe Taylor ran her over.

We will update this story as more details become available.
