Shop employee says women stole $1500 in hair extensions

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are looking for four women they believe stole $1,500 in hair extensions from a beauty supply shop near Tanger Outlet late last month.

According to an incident report, the employee working the cash register on June 25 called police after he noticed a woman milling around behind the counter while he was helping another customer. He told officers that the woman had come into the store with three other women.

When the women left the store, he saw that $1,500 of Brazilian hair extensions were missing.

Surveillance video shows one of the women taking the hair extensions without paying. The four women got into a small gray car and left, the report states.
