Shots fired in N. Charleston, vehicle struck

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police in North Charleston are investigating after shots were fired early Tuesday and a vehicle was struck by gunfire.

A spokesman for the North Charleston Police Department said officers were called to the area of Buist and Oakwood, where investigators found the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

A witness said three vehicles were parked in the road in front of a home at 1083 Buist before shots were fired, the spokesman said.

The three vehicles fled toward Spruill Avenue, investigators said.
