Small plane teeters, gets flat tire

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A small Cessna had to be towed off a runway at Charleston International Airport Thursday.

According to a spokesperson at the airport, the plane's right-side landing gear collapsed, caused a flat tire, and that caused the Cessna 421 light twin engine plane to teeter over onto its side.

The plane was on a small runway that is not used for any commercial flights and the pilot, who was the only person aboard, was not injured.
