CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Southwest Airlines is hoping to add a nonstop flight to Dallas from Charleston, the airline announced Monday.
The hope is to acquire two additional gates at Dallas Love Field and add 20 flights to 11 other nonstop destinations.
"We are thrilled with the announcement that Southwest Airlines wants to offer nonstop service from Charleston, S.C., to Dallas Love Field," said Paul G. Campbell Jr., director of airports for the Charleston County Aviation Authority. "This comes at a great time for Charleston International Airport. The addition of new service gives passengers more travel choices."
