SPD: Summerville BB&T robbed

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Summerville Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Thursday afternoon.

According to SPD spokesperson Capt. Jon Rogers, it happened at the Dorchester Road BB&T around 12:40 p.m.

Rogers said a white male wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, shorts and black shoes left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as being about six feet tall weighing around 240 pounds.

No injuries were reported and police did not mention the use of a weapon.
