With 17 nights of art, there's sure to be an event that suits your fancy. That's right, Lowcountry, Spoleto is here! The festival begins Friday and runs through Sunday, June 12. Be sure to click the link on our homepage for all the details.

And in the rare case that you may get "Spoleto-ed out", we've found some other events to kick off your Memorial Day weekend.

Art for Charity:

-This week's reception benefits Crisis Ministries

-Fridays from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. until June 20

-Michael Mitchell Gallery downtown

Fridays on the Point:

-Fridays from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

-This week's live music: Dave Matthews Cover Band

Charleston Farmers Market:

-Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Marion Square

Get your green on, Lowcountry, and get movin' for the "Go Green" 5K race. Walk, run, skip or even roll your wheelchair through the scenic path around Patriots Point. The race leaves Waterfront Park at 9 a.m. and on-site registration is available until 8:45. Proceeds benefit the Green Energy Independence Organization.

It's an S.O.S. of sorts for South Carolina's breast cancer patients. Share Our Suzy and Shoreline Productions come together Saturday at 5:30 p.m. for the 7th Annual Suzy McGrane Memorial benefit at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. Musical guests Indecision and Gaslight Street are sure to get you dancing for a great cause.

The Charleston Battery takes on Harrisburg Saturday night at 7:30 at Blackbaud Stadium. It's family night, so bring the kids and enjoy a dinner for four at a special price.

The USS Yorktown is taking you back to your glory days. We're talking aviators, big hair, neon work out attire- the tackier, the better! Celebrate Memorial Day weekend in outdated style on Sunday evening from 6:30-10:30 on the deck of the USS Yorktown for the Top Gun 80s Party. Tickets must be purchased before the event and include food, adult beverages and live music by Plaid.
