Spots available for SC camp for troubled teens

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- There are still spots available for a camp for troubled teens that's being run by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Leon Lott says people can still sign up for CAMP LOTT. That stands for "Leading Our Troubled Teens."

Lott says the camp is designed to cut down on at-risk behavior through mentoring, physical activity and sessions on life skills. There are also courses on anger management, goal setting and problem solving.

Camp for boys begins June 16, while a girls' session starts June 23. All events will be held at the McCrady Training Center.
