      Stand Down against homelessness

      NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- Are you willing to help a veteran in need? How about a homeless veteran? Then the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center is calling for your help!

      Stand Down, is a program offered through the center that offers mental, dental, job assistance, food, clothing and more to homeless veterans across the Lowcountry. There are more than 2,000 clients expected to attend the event that will offer all of these services free of charge to those who show up. If you know of a homeless vet that could use some help at this time, you are asked to send them over to the free event is happening at Armory Park at 5000 Lackawanna Blvd. in North Charleston.
