NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- It's been two months since Gary Stevens lost his stepdaughter Ariel Morgan. Still no arrests have been made and no suspects have been named.
Morgan was gunned down June 7 at a block party on Tish Lane in Moncks Corner. The gathering of friends turned deadly as someone fired shots into the crowd, hitting six people and killing Morgan.
"Life has changed. It ain't the same. I feel bad about even being happy at certain times," said Stevens.
Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies say they have followed every lead and have talked to several people, but need the public's help.
Stevens has a feeling that someone knows something that will bring the person responsible to justice. He says it's in their best interest to let authorities know anything that could lead to an arrest.
"You never know, someone you know, someone you care about could be next and it might be by the same people. Stand up, have some pride. If they don't, they're not going to grow up to be adults they are going to die as kids," he said.
