Strawberry Festival At Boone Hall

Mt. Pleasant, S.C.- It's the 14th annual Lowcountry Strawberry Festival this weekend!

Organizers of the event over at Boone Hall say it has grown exponentially! In 2007, there were a little over 4,000 people at the event, but now the crowds of over 10,000 attend the two day family fun festival. It has truly grown to become one of the premier spring events in the Lowcountry each year!

They are also offering a Ride Everything wristband this year that is sure to make the event even bigger! It will allow festival goers to ride all 14 rides as many times as they want for one low price! Similar to what you see at other county fairs and festivals, the wristbands can be bought in advance online as part of an admission/wristband combo, or at the event. You can also save time avoid ticket booth lines by purchasing in advance online! Separate admission tickets are required and admission to the festival is not included with wristband purchase. There will also be live entertainment!

If that weren't enough, there will be pig races, magic shows, and a Little Miss Berry Princess Contest and more and of course there will be plenty of berries to pick out in the Boone Hall fields. Admission for the event is $6 for the adults and $4 for children ages three to 12. Children two and under admitted free with paying adult, so get on out this weekend and soak up the sun and fun at the Boone Hall Strawberry Festival!

Saturday, May 7 from 10am-6pm and then Sunday, May 8 from 12noon-6pm.
