SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Summerville police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Summerville CVS, taking about $18,000 worth of prescription drugs.The robbery happened just after 2 a.m. Thursday morning at the CVS Pharmacy on North Main Street.According to a police report, an employee was in the back of the store when he heard a female coworker call his name. He looked towards the counter in the front of the store and saw the suspect holding a gun to his coworker's back.The employee told police that the suspect told him to fill two plastic bags with oxycontin, oxycodone and percocet before making them walk to the middle of the store and lay on the floor. After the suspect ran out, the employees called 911.Summerville police say they were able to track the suspect using K9 units as far as the Arby's parking lot. SPD also collected video surveillance and report a "suspicious white in color two-door crew cab pickup truck driving up and down East 2nd North Street several times just before the incident." Police say the robber got away with approximately $18,000.00 worth of medication. No customers were in the business at the time of the robbery and no employees were injured. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, standing at about six feet tall and weighing about 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.Anyone with information on the suspect should contact the Summerville Police Department @ 843-851-4100.
