Sunshine, fresh produce, and family fun: Mount Pleasant Farmer's Market opens for spring season

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Local farmers and businesses are showing off their finest selection of food and products as the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market gets underway off of Coleman Boulevard.

The market, set up right next to Moultrie Middle School,{} officially opened at 3:30 p.m. and has seen a steady crowd of folks trickling in to get their hands on the delicious goods. The 80-degree weather and clear skies set the perfect backdrop for the market's opening day. There is something for everyone at the market: organic, fresh produce, including every veggie you can imagine, locally-sourced coffee, potted plants, a fresh seafood booth, boiled peanuts, a balloon-making booth for the kids, and even live music. The market is open until dusk
