CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police have arrested a man they believe robbed the West Ashley First Federal Bank last month.
Back on February 4, two men went into the bank on Magwood Drive armed with guns and demanded money from the tellers before leaving in a brown or gold box-styled, four-door sedan.
CPD officials said one of two suspects, who was also wanted for a bank robbery in Georgetown, was arrested Monday for that robbery.
Ryan Lanard Bonneau, 46, of Constitution Street, North Charleston, is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Charleston Police detectives served Bonneau with the warrants for the First Federal robbery Thursday at the Charleston Police Department.
Police are still trying to identify the second suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
