Suspect arrested in North Charleston bank robbery

      NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Summerville man was arrested Friday after police say he robbed a North Charleston Bank of America.According to police reports, officers were called to the{} Core Road location around 1:30 p.m. Friday.Witnesses told officers that a man came into the bank and hung around the lobby nervously for awhile before coming up to the teller with a note and a knife. The suspect reportedly threatened the teller several times as she collected the money to hand to him.Another employee ran after the suspect, saw the vehicle he got away in and told police.Police found that vehicle and arrested 38-year-old Brett Alan Brown of Summerville. He is charged with the bank robbery and was given a $25,000 bond.
